Champslig is a personalized and engagement-focused mobile experience that brings all the needs of football fans together in one place. The app goes beyond simply delivering real-time data — it blends live scores, comprehensive statistics, and current news with AI-powered engagement tools and gamification elements.
The design process was built on competitor analysis of sports apps, news platforms, and user persona research, launched with the aim of closing existing gaps in the digital landscape. The core differentiator of Champslig is its dynamic user interface. The app shifts colors based on the team the user supports, creating a personal sense of belonging.
The overall structure of the app is built on these core pillars:
In short, Champslig presents football not just as a sport to follow but as an interactive passion space where every detail can be personalized.
At this stage, comprehensive research was conducted to understand football fans' experiences with existing apps and to identify gaps in the market.
Before starting the design process, the current state of the market was analyzed:
Following user interviews and market research, the following core needs were identified:
The research focused on three core user types:
Die-Hard Follower: Tracks every moment of their team — from training news to transfer rumors — and keeps notifications always on.
Stats Enthusiast: Focuses beyond live scores on league standings, top scorer charts, and detailed team statistics.
Social Fan: Enjoys discussion in forums, takes part in sports games and giveaways, and aims to compete with other users.
This discovery process formed the foundation of the app's core strategy built on personalization, engagement, and dynamic design.
Champslig's visual language was crafted to merge the dynamism of football with a modern digital experience. The fundamental goal of the design was to make users feel not just like they're using an app, but like they're a digital part of the team they support.
This visual strategy turns Champslig from a mere score-tracking tool into a personal football experience hub.
Concept: The app's name "Champslig" evokes championship and elite football organizations. The logo design was modernized to reflect this prestige and football's energy.
Color Choice: "Vibrant green and white" were chosen for the logo and brand identity.
Primary Colors: Green and white, which form the brand's foundation, are used dominantly in the app's general navigation and brand elements.
Secondary Colors: Standard football-literature warning colors are integrated for live scores, cards (yellow/red), and notifications.
Typography: For information-dense areas like league standings, fixtures, and news feeds, modern sans-serif typefaces with high readability and quick scanability were preferred.

AaThe most original aspect of the design is that it isn't tied to a static color palette:
Team-Based Customization: The moment a user selects the team they support, the app's interface and colors dynamically change to reflect that team's colors.
Personal Experience: This dynamic structure ensures that users don't just consume information — they identify with the app through their own fan identity. For example, for a La Liga enthusiast or an Arda Güler follower, the interface adapts to these preferences, offering a personalized atmosphere.
Data Visualization: Live scores, match results, and team statistics are presented in a card-based structure that's free from clutter.
Interactive Areas: Social features like forums, discussion spaces, and AI chat are visually separated from the news feed to encourage user engagement.
This visual strategy turns Champslig from a mere score-tracking tool into a personal football experience hub.
Champslig is a comprehensive data hub that keeps users instantly informed about every development in the world of football.
Champslig is designed as more than a score app — it's a digital stand where fans come together.
Forums and Discussion Areas: Dedicated forums and discussion spaces are available where users can exchange ideas and share their views on matches.
Global Fan Network: Users can chat with other fans worldwide, share live commentary on matches, and become part of the global football community.
Interactive Chat Rooms: Interactive spaces designed for sharing match excitement help users spend more time inside the app and socialize.
Champslig aims to increase loyalty by enabling users not just to consume information but to play an active role inside the app.
Through the integration of modern technologies, Champslig offers users a smarter and more personalized assistant.
AI Chat: The in-app AI chat feature offers users a space where they can find answers to football-related questions or have interactive dialogues.
Smart Personalization Algorithm: The AI analyzes the user's preferences for selected teams, leagues, specific players, or coaches.
Personalized News Feed: Based on user preferences, the AI-powered infrastructure adjusts news intensity — for example, making news about a specific player appear more frequently in the feed.
Dynamic Content Management: The AI brings the user's favorite content to the forefront, ensuring every user has a uniquely personalized news and data panel.
These features set Champslig apart from a standard score app, turning it into a rewarding and intelligent football ecosystem that users want to visit every day.
Champslig successfully transformed the football-following experience from a static data feed into a personalized, living community. The user needs prioritized during the design process and the dynamic interface strategy allowed the app to gain great momentum in a short time.
Champslig has proven itself as a must-have digital platform for football fans by blending live scores, detailed statistics, and news feeds with gamification and AI. It will continue to expand its global reach, bringing football enthusiasts worldwide together under one roof.
